Reading this site

We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. One thing is kept, and it is kept in your own browser rather than by us: when you confirm you are of legal drinking age, your browser remembers the time you answered for thirty days so you are not asked on every visit. Nothing about that reaches us.

Other companies your browser contacts

The typefaces come from Google Fonts on every page, so your browser asks fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com for them and Google sees that request. The Still Sessions page carries players from YouTube - through youtube-nocookie.com, their reduced-tracking address - and from Spotify, so opening that page contacts both. Everything else is a link: nothing is requested from Facebook, Instagram or Google Maps until you click one.

Joining the mailing list

We receive your email address, and your first and last name if you give them. The list is held and the mailings are sent by Brevo on our behalf. The form also records the internet address you sent it from and your browser's description of itself, so we can tell real sign-ups from automated ones.

The RSVP and contact form

If you send us a message we receive your name, email address, telephone number, the kind of enquiry and what you wrote. It is emailed to us and a copy is emailed back to you. The same internet address and browser record is kept, for the same reason.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not give it to anyone for their own marketing. We hand it to others only where the law requires it.

Leaving the list, or asking us to remove something

Every mailing carries an unsubscribe link. You can also use the RSVP and contact page on this site, or the telephone number at the foot of it, and we will remove what we hold about you.

Why the site asks your age

We brew, distil and serve alcohol, so the site asks you to confirm you are of legal drinking age before showing you the rooms and the menus. That answer stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Changes

If this policy changes we replace this page and change the date at the top of it.
